Dallas, Irving and Coppell, Texas
Nationstar, 7-Eleven, CoreLogic, Toyota Finance, One Source – the corporate relocations keep coming to Cypress Waters, making it the fastest growing office market in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex.
The Billingsley Company began assembling land in 2003 around an old power plant cooling lake strategically located minutes from D/FW Airport. Now with over 1,000 acres, the project has targeted a full build-out of 26,000 people; 4.5 million square feet of retail and office; and 10,000 residential units.
Binkley & Barfield's land development group has been right in the middle of this office boom. Given the opportunity to propose on the first speculative office building, and they have never looked back. In total, the numbers are staggering – over 1,600,000 sf of commercial office space on 100 acres with nearly 10,000 surface and structured parking spaces and over 30,000 sf in retail development.
For each 10 to 20 acre site, Binkley & Barfield has assisted in the site layout, designed paving, grading, drainage and utilities; and obtained the jurisdictional approvals required for the sitework construction. Considering the project lies in three different cities, this was no small task.
Although the initial infrastructure was designed by others, Binkley & Barfield has provided civil engineering on every office and retail site project within the Cypress Waters development and worked hand in hand with prominent Dallas area architects that include Omniplan, Corgan, Good Fulton & Farrell, O’Brien, Gensler and Boka Powell.
