BBI’s Eleanor Rivera, PE Recognized at ASCE Annual Engineering Banquet

BBI’s Eleanor Rivera, PE was recognized for her past service at the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) 68th Annual Engineering Banquet, held on February 19th at the Pebble Creek Country Club in College Station. Eleanor was honored by her peers for her role as past President of ASCE Brazos Branch. The award was presented to her by Jose Carmona of CP&Y. Eleanor first joined the ASCE Brazos Branch when she moved to College Station and began working at BBI in 2016, where she took on the role of ASCE Brazos Chapter Vice President. The following year, she moved on to become the Brazos Branch Chapter President, where she helped the ASCE student chapter at A&M host the annual statewide student symposium in College Station. After serving her term as President, she has continued to support the chapter’s efforts including planning monthly meetings, events, and continuing outreach that best represent the Civil Engineering practice.
