How has BBI helped you to develop and expand your professional career as an engineer?

I’ve been with BBI since graduating, so I’ve gotten all of my experience through BBI. They’ve always been encouraging and have pushed me to grow and learn.

What has been one of your favorite BBI projects to have been a part of?

River Ranch County Park – it had a little bit of everything. I was able to design the roadways, water, wastewater, electric, and the drainage and water quality components for a 1,000-acre park in Williamson County.

What made you want to become an Infrastructure Engineer?

I became interested after taking infrastructure-related classes in college. I like that we are designing things that people use every day and will continue to need. It’s cool to actually be able to see something you designed being built and used.

If you weren’t an engineer, what career could you see yourself having?

If I weren’t an engineer, I would probably want to do something related to food or nutrition.

Describe your perfect weekend.

My perfect weekend would be hanging out with my boyfriend, dogs, and friends at either the beach or the lake.
