Binkley & Barfield’s JR Reddish is TSPE’s Engineer of the Year!

This year at the Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE) Conference and 83rd Annual Meeting, Binkley & Barfield’s Chief Engineer, Harold “JR” Reddish, PE, FNSPE, FSAME, was awarded the TSPE Engineer of the Year!

The TSPE Engineer of the Year Award is the highest honor given to an individual TSPE member. Eligibility is restricted to engineers whose sustained and unusual contributions have improved the public welfare and the advancement of his/her profession. Chapters nominate eligible members for consideration at the state level. Larry Barfield, PE received this coveted award in 2010.

In addition, JR was installed as the State of Texas National Delegate to represent the TSPE at the National Society of Professional Engineers meeting in Kansas City in July.

The TSPE annual meeting, held in College Station, invites engineers from across the state to gather and attend governance meetings and educational seminars.

Several members of BBI were also in attendance: Brandon Boatcallie, PE; Heather Welch-Westfall RPLS, PLS, ISA Certified Arborist MW-5723A; Greg Lanting, PE; Richard Arvizu, PE, CFM; Larry Barfield, PE, FNSPE; and Brett Binkley.

Congratulations, JR!
