Binkley & Barfield, Inc. (BBI) is pleased to announce the addition of Chris Hale, PE to the position of Director for our South Texas regional office located in Corpus Christi.
Chris has more than 20 years of experience in transportation civil engineering and project management. He is widely recognized as a leader in Nueces County working as a senior major projects engineer/manager for the City of Corpus Christi, Texas. He also worked in Wisconsin and Arizona as an engineer to produce local, county, and city plans and specifications, as well as started two state-qualified materials testing laboratories.
While at the City of Corpus Christi for more than three years, Chris created and managed budgets and schedules for all Street Bonds for more than $100 million annually. With innovative techniques in management, Chris was a key driver and manager in a record-setting year of production output for the Engineering Services Department in producing two street projects per month for advertisement and delivering more than $220 Million in street work for the City. In addition, he started and managed the citywide Street Preventative Maintenance Program (SPMP) as a method of delivering more than 150 resurfaced local roads every year to the public.
